Your Gift Supports Education
 The Ocean Institute is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization that is able to keep program fees low thanks to generous donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Using the ocean as a teaching tool, the Ocean Institute inspires learning, literacy, and a love of the environment through unique science and maritime history programs. Your donation will support our mission and is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Ways to Give
Annual Fund
Your unrestricted gift provides funding for student aid, new educational equipment, competitive salaries to recruit and retain top-ranked instructors, launching new programs and courses, and operational expenses. Your gift reduces the pressure to raise program fees and helps bridge the gap between earned revenue and the true cost of educating and inspiring over 100,000 students each year about marine science, maritime history, and preserving and protecting the ocean environment. We accept gifts of cash, stock, and real property.

Special Events
Each year the Ocean Institute utilizes special events to raise additional funding for the organization. Since each event is different, sponsorship opportunities are customized for each event and provide many opportunities for individuals or companies to participate.
Sponsorship of an event can include: Title or Presenting sponsor naming rights for an event, recognition for you or your company by placement of your name/logo on the invitation, the event program, and event signage, a podium acknowledgement at the event as well as complimentary invitations to the event.
