Tidepool Exploration in the Dana Point Marine Protected Area
 Grades 4-6
Two hours, $695 for up to 55 participants
Measure physical factors using scientific sampling equipment, identify adaptations in local
tidepool species with the aid of an experienced naturalist, and conduct population studies on
hermit crabs, turban snails, and barnacles using low-impact exploration techniques.
